About RōdoHouse

Rōdo House is a media news source focused on JDM car news, culture, and lifestyle. The goal is to share news stories and updates that excite people who love the same thing. Every piece of content created is for enthusiasts who appreciate cars from Japan’s past, present, and future.

What is RōdoHouse

The name comes from the Japanese word “rōdo,” which means road, combined with “house,” a place to gather.

Together, RōdoHouse represents a home for road-driven culture — a space built for people who live, breathe, & follow the world of JDM cars.

Our Core

RōdoHouse was built for JDM fans who want real news and fresh stories about the cars they love. The mission is to highlight the cars, brands, and people shaping Japan’s automotive world. The focus is on clarity, passion, and authenticity.

Right now is an exciting time for car enthusiasts. Nissan, Toyota, Honda, and Mazda are all returning to motorsports and building cars that drivers actually enjoy. RōdoHouse covers those stories with a genuine love for the culture.

The Driver Behind RōdoHouse

Hey, my name is Ronnie, and I am the founder of RōdoHouse. Like many gear heads, my love for JDM cars started with 2 Fast 2 Furious. While the movie was Hollywood fiction, the cars and culture in it felt real to me. This lead to buy my first car, which is an Infiniti G35, and that experience sparked a deeper connection to the import scene.

Over time, I noticed that the JDM community lacked a voice that felt personal. The culture has always been strong, but it often stayed underground. I created RōdoHouse to change that.

It is a place to share JDM car news from someone who truly understands and appreciates them. My goal is to keep the culture alive and create a space for people who love these cars as much as I do to connect.
