Iconic Mark IV Supra Parts Are Coming Back Thanks To Toyota

Toyota is continuing its push to support classic performance cars, and this time the focus shifts to the A80 Mark IV Supra. A new reproduction part is on the way, aimed at solving a common aging issue Supra owners have dealt with for years.

For Supra fans, this latest move shows the GR Heritage Parts Project is expanding beyond mechanical parts and into areas that help restore cars to their original look.

Toyota Reproduces A80 Supra Interior Parts Through GR Heritage Parts Project

Toyota GAZOO Racing announced plans to reproduce and reissue the interior instrument panel for the A80 Mark IV Supra under the GR Heritage Parts Project.

The initiative focuses on bringing discontinued genuine parts back into production so owners can maintain classic Toyota models with factory-spec quality. More than 300 parts across multiple vehicles have already been reproduced, and the A80 Supra continues to see growing support.

The latest addition is the A80 Supra instrument panel, a major portion of the dashboard that stretches from above the steering wheel to the passenger side.

Dashboards are known for cracking, shrinking, and fading over time due to long exposure to sunlight. Toyota is addressing those issues by reproducing the instrument panel using modern materials designed to improve durability while keeping the original appearance intact.

The reproduced panel retains the original basic design but benefits from updated manufacturing methods and materials.

Toyota says the texture has been carefully copied, including the embossed grain finish. This makes sure the new panel looks natural when installed. The goal is to keep classic Supras looking and running like they were meant to.

The new instrument panel is currently in development with a targeted release for fall 2026. Like other GR Heritage Parts, it will be available at GR Garage locations, Toyota dealerships, and JMS outlets in Japan. Installation services will also be offered.

Supra Steps Into Expanded GR Heritage Parts Spotlight

The A80 Supra now expands its presence in the GR Heritage Parts Project, offering welcome support for owners who have preserved the legendary model since its debut in 1993.

The program originally focused on essential components for driving, turning, and stopping, but it is now expanding into interior and exterior components as customer demand grows. This shift allows owners to not only keep their cars on the road but also maintain their overall condition.

The project has already shown its impact with other iconic Toyota performance platforms. One recent example is the reproduction of major 4A-GE engine components for the AE86. Toyota reproduced cylinder blocks and cylinder heads while updating them with modern materials and manufacturing techniques.

The redesigned parts feature strengthened construction and improved consistency while staying true to the original design. By continuing to expand the lineup, Toyota is supporting enthusiasts who have kept these vehicles alive for decades.

Toyota Celebrates Classic Models at Automobile Council 2026

Toyota confirmed that the new GR Heritage Parts, along with a fully restored A80 Supra, will be shown at the Automobile Council 2026. The event runs from April 10 to April 12 at Makuhari Messe in Japan.

The display will show how reproduced parts can help bring classic cars back to their original condition.

The Supra will be joined by a Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 restored at GR Garage Mito Keyakidai using current and upcoming GR Heritage Parts. The exhibit will show how these parts help keep iconic Toyotas on the road longer.

Toyota will also display the LEXUS LFA. While not part of the reproduction program, it represents Toyota’s long-term support for sports cars.

The display will include several GR Heritage Parts, like the 4A-GE engine’s cylinder head and cylinder block, which are set to release in June. The engine’s oil pan baffle plate is also planned for reproduction.

With the A80 Supra instrument panel in development and more heritage parts coming, Toyota continues to support its most famous cars.

The GR Heritage Parts Project is growing, giving enthusiasts more ways to restore and maintain vehicles that shaped Toyota’s performance history.
