The First Official Fanatec Nissan Steering Wheel Is Happening

Fanatec and Nissan Partner For SIM Racing Steering Wheel

A new collaboration is bringing together the worlds of sim racing and Japanese performance cars. Fanatec has confirmed its latest licensing partnership, giving enthusiasts another reason to keep an eye on what’s coming next.

Fanatec Teams Up With Nissan For New Line of Sim Racing Steering Wheels

Fanatec, a brand of CORSAIR and one of the leading manufacturers of sim racing hardware, has officially announced a licensing partnership with Nissan Motor Co.

Fanatec will develop officially licensed steering wheels inspired by Nissan’s performance driving heritage, giving sim racers a more authentic driving experience.

The announcement is significant because Nissan becomes the first Japanese performance brand to join Fanatec’s growing lineup of automotive partners.

Over the years, Fanatec has worked with manufacturers including Porsche, BMW, and Bentley to create steering wheels that closely resemble the design and feel of their real-world counterparts.

Each collaboration has focused on delivering an authentic driving experience rather than simply adding a manufacturer logo to an existing wheel.

“We are thrilled to welcome Fanatec on board and are excited to collaborate with them on this new, exciting, licensed category extension for Nissan,” said Yukika Sato, Senior Manager at Nissan. “We have long-standing gaming partners that we support and an avid global fan base of keen sim racers, so we are sure this licensed product will be a welcome addition!”

Fanatec believes the collaboration is a natural fit for both companies. “We are excited to partner with Nissan on officially licensed products,” said Tobias Stelzer, Vice President and General Manager at Fanatec. “Nissan has a passionate global fan base and a strong connection to driving enthusiasts, making this a natural fit for Fanatec and the sim racing community.”

Although the partnership has now been revealed, Fanatec has not shared any product images, technical specifications, pricing, compatibility details, or release date.

The company says additional information regarding the steering wheel will be announced later this year.

What To Expect From The First Nissan Fanatec Steering Wheel

Since Fanatec has not revealed the design yet, enthusiasts are already looking at the company’s previous licensed steering wheels for clues.

Based on that history, it would not be surprising to see the upcoming Nissan steering wheel feature a prominent Nissan badge in the center. Another possibility is the legendary GT-R logo, which has become one of the most recognizable performance emblems in the automotive world.

While the design has not been confirmed, either approach would immediately connect the steering wheel to Nissan’s performance lineup.

What is announced is that the steering wheel is set to have a strong focus on craftsmanship, ergonomic precision, and visual authenticity.

The goal is to create an immersive driving experience that allows sim racers to feel more connected to the road while enjoying a product that reflects Nissan’s performance heritage.

For now, everything beyond the official announcement remains speculation. More details are expected later this year, and fans will be watching closely to see how Fanatec brings one of Japan’s most celebrated automotive brands into its expanding lineup of licensed racing hardware.
